Anxiety is not always just a problem of the mind.
Most of the time, it is a reflection of a body that has spent too much time in a state of alert.
When you feel like you always need to be prepared for the worst…
When resting seems dangerous…
When your heart races and your thoughts race…
It's the nervous system saying, “I don't feel safe.”
Many of us have learned to live in survival mode.
Due to old traumas, abandonment experiences or simply years of emotional overload.
In my therapeutic work, the focus is on helping you recognize these signs, giving space to repressed emotions and, most importantly, teaching your body to return to a state of safety.
Relief doesn't come from controlling anxiety.
It comes from listening to what she is trying to get you to avoid feeling.
