Shame is one of the most silent and deepest emotional wounds there is.
It makes us believe that there is something wrong with us, that we are inadequate, insufficient, or even unworthy of love.
It appears in the body as a desire to shrink.
In the eyes, such as difficulty maintaining eye contact.
In relationships, such as constant fear of rejection or being exposed.
Many people who are ashamed try to compensate for it with perfectionism, hyper-productivity, or pleasing everyone all the time.
But behind these defenses, what exists is an old pain of not having been seen, welcomed or respected in one's own essence.
In my work, I help you recognize shame without merging with it.
Creating an internal space where you can look at yourself with more kindness and start building a new relationship with yourself.
Shame no longer has to rule your life.
It can, little by little, transform into presence and self-compassion.
With love, Sitara Ju
